Forthcoming Performances

...received her musical education in Latvia and Russia.Anete played the violin with the Orchestra of the Latvian Opera and Ballet. She moved to London in 1995 where she teaches the violin.

In 2004 Anete received a Postgraduate Diploma in Performance from LCMM. She has performed videly as recitalist and soloist in the UK at venues such as Holywell Concert Room Oxford, St. James Church Piccadilly, Burgh House Hampstead, at the Edinburgh Festival and also abroad in Latvia, Norway, Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, Sicily and Cyprus.

Since 2006 she is giving a number of concerts each year to raise funds for their new piano. Anete is also organising an annual May concert with participation of invited soloists to play solo with an orchestra. She is founder member of TANGISSIMO, an ensemble delicated to celebrate Piazzolla's Tango music. Together with pianist Aya Kawabata she has recorded a CD named "Romantic Bartok". Anete plays a 19th century French violin
