Born in Rousse, Bulgaria, Kremena Atcheva studied flute at the Music School in Rousse and graduated the Bulgarian Music Academy in Sofia with G.Spassov. She started her artistic career very early. At the age of 12, she took part in the Days of Bulgarian Culture in Wienna, Prague, Bratislava. As a schoolgirl she was the soloist of the Youth Orchestra in Rousse, and with this orchestra she took part in the International Festival "March Music Days" in Rousse with a concert in Germany.

In 1983 she was awarded the first prize in the National Competition for the Wind Instruments . At the same year, she was the first prize winner in the Rousse Music School Competition for the performance of Bulgarian piece.

In the years 1989 and 1990 and 1991 Kremena Atcheva took an active part in the Summer and Winter sessions of the World Youth Orchestra "Jeunesses Musicales" in Sweden, Holland, Denmark and Germany.

In 1991 she took an active part in the Master classes of Alain Marion and A.Nikolet in Nice &endash; France, and in the Master classes of Andrash Adorian in Varna- Bulgaria and in Germany.

In 1992 Kremena Atcheva was the finalist and the prize winner of the public at the International Flute Competition in Belgrade. She was the soloist of the New Symphony Orchestra in Sofia, the Orchestra Symphonietta in Sofia, the "Sofia Soloists" Chamber Orchestra, the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra, ensamble "Orchestral".

Since 1995 Kremena Atcheva is the soloist of the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra.

In 1996 she took after selection part in the International Competition "Prague Spring".

In May 1998 she von the first prize in the 8th International Chamber Music Competition in Thessaloniki, Greece &endash; category flute and piano.

In 1998 she is awarded as an Instrumentalist of the year with " Crystal Lira" by the Ministry of Culture and the Union of the Bulgarian musicians. She made the recordings for the Bulgarian National Radio, for the Bulgarian National Television and CD recordings.
