Violinist Ruben Kosemian was Born in 1973 . From the age of 5 he began studying violin under the guidance of his father Alexander Kosemian. In 1987 Ruben left for Moscow to continue musical education at the Moscow Conservatory with the professor Maya Glezarova. Among his teachers is the professor of Yerevan Conservatory Eduard Tadevosian.

Ruben has attended master classes under the guidance of Ruben Aharonian, Jan Ter Merkerian, Igor Oistrach and Tibor Varga. In 1997 He was granted the Vladimir Spivakov scholarship. From 2000 Ruben Kosemian has taught at the Yerevan State Conservatory, violin and chamber ensemble classes. During 2000 He was Head of department of classic music in " Kish Art and Music House " Kish island.

Ruben has appeared in concerts in Germany, France, Iran, the USA and Russia. He has performed the Brahms Double Concerto for Violin and Cello, Violin Concertos of Khachaturian, Sarian, Tchaikowsky, Mendelssohn, Glazunov, Mozart and Bruch. In 2004 Ruben Kosemian became the scholarship holder of the "Denkmalschmiede Hofgen" Cultural Center .

In the future he is planning to play much different music, especially by the Armenian classic and modern composers. Ruben has made a series of recordings
