After studies with Jaroslav Foltýn and Nora Grumlíková at the Prague Conservatoire and the Academy of the Performing Arts, respectively Vítězslav Černoch graduated by performing the Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto with the Prague Symphony Orchestra.

He has a wide list of competition and performance credits, including first prize at the Kocian International Violin Competition in Ústí nad Orlicí and first prize at the Beethoven's International Competition in Hradec nad Moravicí.

Since 1988 when he was chosen to represent the Czech Republic at the International violin festival in Caracas, Venezuela with a peformance of the Dvořák Violin Concerto with the Caracas Symphony, he has given concerts in many countries in Europe, Asia, America and Africa including venues such as Wigmore Hall in London, Beethoven Hall in Bonn, Tsuda Hall and Opera City Hall in Tokyo, Phoenix Hall and Izumi Hall in Osaka, Carnegie Hall in New York, Museum of Art in Cleveland, St.Lawrence Center of Art in Toronto...

An active chamber musician, he was first violinist in the Czech Nonet and from 1995-2001 was first violinist in the Stamic String Quartet and appeared with guitarists Pepe Romero and María Isabel Siewers, cellist Antonio Meneses, pianists Ivan Klánský, Boris Krajný, Antonín Kubálek, Igor Ardašev, clarinetist Ronald van Spaendonck, violinist Josef Suk, members of the Talich Quartet, Pražák Quartet, Kocian Quartet and many others.

He has recorded over twenty compact discs for Czech and foreign record companies (Supraphon, Panton-Bonton, Lotos, Matouš, KoArt, Bayer Records-Germany, ASV-England, J.J.Enterprise-USA) which range from solo pieces to chamber music. His recording of the complete quartets of Alois Hába (4 CDs) earned an award from the Czech Musical Council.
