......was born in 1972 and started to play the violin at the age of four. Before going to college he studied with professor Karl-Ove Mannberg and during his five years in the Royal College of Stockholm (three years as a post graduate and two years in the solo programme) his studies progressed with Professor Leo Berlin as teacher. After his diploma Fredrik went on to become an artist in residence at the Banff Centre and then studied with Professor David Takeno.

Fredrik has gained a massive reputation both as a chamber musician and as soloist. In 1993 he won First Prize in the Schymberg Competition and has since participated in several festivals (eg; Korsholm International Music Festival and Borgholm Chamber Music Festival) and played as soloist with most orchestras in Sweden (eg; the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Sundsvall Chamber Orchestra). The critics have been very positive with judgments such as; "brilliant violin playing" (Camilla Lundberg, Expressen, and Jan Kask, Svenska Dagbladet, and "thrilling artistry" Dagens Nyheter).

The repertoire of Fredrik encompasses a large variety of music ranging from 17th. century Baroque music to several contemporary pieces written and dedicated to him.

From the season of 97/98 Fredrik is playing as concertmaster in the Gavle Symphony Orchestra and the Na'u Chamber Orchestra.
