Mario Basilisco was born in Gibraltar. He comes from a family of Flamenco artists and began playing the guitar when he was 15 years old.
Mario has played extensively over the UK, performing in a large variety of engagements, from Concert to Radio, and to private parties.
He has a recording released in 1994, entitled "Olas Del Mar".
He has performed concerts with Juan Martin and Paco Peña and is much sought after as a soloist and accompanist for various Flamenco groups.
