Born in Ireland and the second eldest of six children, Linda was raised in Lancashire. She studied singing with Dorothy Armitage of the Royal Northern College of Music and has recently completed three years study with Grayson Burgess.
Linda's recent engagements include recitals at Althorpe House in Northamptonshire, the Haymarket Theatre in Leicester, Opera at the Malvern Festival Theatre in Bizet's Carmen. The premier of Andrew Carter's Musick's Jubilee and with the Malvern Festival Chorus in Fauré's Requiem. On a lighter note Linda has an enthusiastic following for her appearances at Gala Dinners including the Grosvenor House Hotel and the magnificent Skinners' Guild Hall, London.
Linda's charitable work includes the Stoke Mandeville burns and reconstructive surgery unit. She was honoured last year at a special luncheon and presented to H.R.H.Prince Michael of Kent (Patron of the Trust) in thanks for the concerts she has given to raise money for the trust.
Linda recently recorded a CD entitled "Out of the Blue" on which she sings a diverse selection from her favourite songs including her own composition, and is currently working on new recordings.
