Born in Ireland, Emma  Harper won a choral scholarship to attend Cambridge University where she sang and recorded as a soloist with the St Catharine’s College Chapel Choir and the Cambridge University Chamber Choir.   In 2006 she completed a Post-graduate Diploma at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and won the Academy’s Margaret Dick Award for singing.  She is now completing her Masters in Performance and is one of the performers on the Live Music Now! programme, set up by Sir Yehudi Menuhin.  
 
Emma’s recent concert performances include Haydn’s Nelson Mass and Little Organ Mass, Handel’s Messiah, Mozart’s Exsultate Jubilate and Coronation Mass, Rossini’s Petite Messe Solenelle, and Rutter’s Mass for Children with the Northern Sinfonia, as well as giving several concerts as part of the Rouen International Festival of Culture.  For more information about Emma’s background, concert and operatic experience and her forthcoming performances please use the website link above.
