Richard earned his wings as the preferred session voice on numerous hit records and production demos for artists as diverse as N-Sync, Ricky Martin, Mandy Moore, Jon Secada, Claire Sweeney, Becky Taylor, Tony Hadley (Spandau Ballet), Peter Cox (Go West), ABC, Rick Astley, Adam Rickitt, Pete Townsend, etc.
Richard Oliver is also an in-house vocal producer at Greystoke studios, their most recent hit being Atomic Kitten’s Ladies Night. Nick-named the ‘Diet Coke’ man of the jingle fraternity, he sings the humorous idents for the Chris Moyles’ Radio One Breakfast Show & BBC’s Match of the Day.
Richard also recently completed work on Quadrophenia the Musical alongside Pete Townsend for a production to be staged at the National Theatre with direction by Trevor Nunn. He has a duet coming out on EMI Classics with Becky Taylor and has written a song for Peter Cox’s (Go West) new album. In addition to his session work, Richard fronts corporate entities GROUPER, THE SATELLITES, BACKSTREET SOUL & THE BIG CITY ALL-STARS.
The Satellites recently performed at SHANE RICHIE’S 40th Birthday, EASTENDERS party.
