T.V.Ramprasadh is one of the prominent Carnatic classical vocalists. Gifted with a mellow, bass voice capable of a panoramic range, Ramprasadh has trained it with infinite patience and practice, and shaped it into a voice that weaves a magical spell of sonic beauty. His captivating voice, clarity in diction and unique style have evoked unqualifiedapprobation of all listeners. He is capable of establishing an instant rapport with listeners and his haunting strains linger in the mind of audiences world over. He maintains purity of the classical form through discipline, concentration and uncompromising adherence of tradition.

Born at Bombay in 1969 to T.A. Vyasa Rao and Rukmini, both musicians, T.V.Ramprasadh was a child prodigy, surprising everyone with his musical capabilities right from the tender age of three. His musical career has been blessed by the fact that he had the wonderful opportunity of training under great teachers like R.R.Keshavamurthy, T.V.Gopalkrishnan, S.Rajam and P.S.Narayanaswamy.

He has had the good privilege of performing in prestigious organizations in Chennai and other organizations all over the country. His concert tours abroad have taken him to countries like USA, UK, Germany, France, Holland, Austria, Malaysia etc.

Record Companies like HMV, the Times Music, Amutham Inc of USA, Lahari,Sangeetha etc have got out his music in the form of CDs and audio tapes. He has been featured in a popular Hollywood Television serial along with other internationally acclaimed artistes and has directed music for a documentary Parivrajaka in India. He has been accompanied in recent concerts by artistes like Umayalpuram K Sivaraman, Vellore Ramabhadran, M Chandrashekharan, Guruvayoor Durai, Srimushnam Raja Rao, Manargudi Easawaran, Mysore Nagaraj and Mysore Manjunath to name a few.

His classical repertoire includes, apart from the compositions of the Trinity; Tamil compositions of ancient and contemporary composers including Thiruppugazh; Annamacharya compositions; Mysore Vasudevacharya compositions; Compositions of Haridasas of Karnataka popularly known as Devaranamas; Padams and Javalis; Bhajans and Abhangs. His repertoire is not confined to classical music alone. He has carved a niche for himself in the field of Devotional music. Developing a new pattern for devotional music concerts, he has enthralled audiences with his soul stirring devotional music.

An A-grade All India Radio Artist, his programmes have been broadcast on radio and television in State, Zonal, and National networks. TV Ramprasadh was an anchor for a Carnatic Music Serial Sapthaswara on Udaya TV, an international Kannada satellite channel.

He is an empanelled artist of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR),Govt of India. Apart from performing, he has conducted workshops and undertaken teaching assignments in UK, USA , Germany, France, Holland, Austria and Malaysia.

A Cost Accountant and lawyer by qualification, he has chosen music as his profession. He imparts training to students at Ambalam, Centre For Performing Arts, along with his wife Smt. Indira Kadambi, a noted Bharatanatyam artist.
