Originally founded in New York in 1961 with the release of Peter Ind's bass feature album "Looking Out".

stablished in the UK in 1976 with further releases mainly from sessions recorded in New York. In 1984 Wave ran parallel to the London venue Bass Clef, and during the ten years of the venue many private recordings were made.

Now planned are a number of previously unreleased recordings together with releases of previous issues that have long been unavailable (many of which have become collectors items). These of course will be released on CD format.
