Ukranian Philharmonic Society

Symphonic Orchestra Renaissance

 - is a public organization which purpose is the distribution of high academism in the field of art culture, preservation and augmentation of traditions of native and world art.

Activity of the Society is focused on the popularization of creativity of native and foreign composers,granting of support and help to young talented figuresof musical culture who maintain high ideals of humanismand democratism, aspire to the professional improvement. "Ukrainian Philharmonic Society" supports and develops creative contacts with all associations interested in cooperation, and creative unions. Since 2000 "Ukrainian Philharmonic Society" together with National Preservation Area "St. Sofia of Kiev" have entered the project "Musical evenings in the National Preservation Area "St. Sofia of Kiev". Repertoire of concerts which take place in "Andriivska church" includes a variety of epoches, directions of musical styles and it is professionally performed. Orchestra "Renaissance" Art Director and Main conductor - Joseph Frants. The second conductor of the orchestra - Niku Micney . Symphonic orchestra "Renaissance" is the organizer and the main participant of such art actions: is the constant participant of the project concerts "Musical evenings in the National Preservation Area "St. Sofia of Kiev". (2001-2003-)
