.......was born in Isleworth, West London, on the 15th September 1940. He grew up in the hometown of Hanwell and lived there until 1964. At the end of his education, he joined the famous firm of W.E Hills & Sons and in 1956 started his apprenticeship at the firm's workshops based in Hanwell. He started off in the Hill's Bowshop, and after training became the principal restoration artist. Working at Hills also included the making of bows, but primarily he was involved the restoration of all customer's bows and those master bows that belonged to "Hills".
He left Hills in 1966 and started his own business as a bow maker basing his workshop in Hounslow. He now lives and works in a new home in Hersham, Surrey, and specializes in full time restoration work. He is very experienced in all aspects of restoration methods and is always happy to assist players, dealers and collectors.
