Born in Poland, Beata visited the Emil Mlynarski Music School in Warsaw, and afterwards the Józef Elsner Secondary Music School with Prof. Anna Radziwonowicz in Warsaw, Poland.

She continued her studies at the famous Frederic Chopin Academy of Music, with Prof. Barbara Muszynska in Warsaw, Poland. and got after five years the Univertsity degree of Master of Arts.

Taking profit of a two year fellowship granted by the French government, Beata went to Paris spending the years of 1992-1994 at the Ecole Normale de Musique A. Cortot, with Marian Rybicki in Paris and at the Conservatoire de Musique d'Olivier Messiaen, with Prof. Sergiei Markarov.

Actually she teaches piano at the Ecole de Musique.de Diekirch, living since 1999 in Luxembourg where she married and where she has given many concerts during the last years.

Beata Szalwinska performed more particularly in her country, Poland, ,as well as in Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Switzerland, and Luxembourg.

Beata's preferred composers are : Beethoven, Liszt, Mozart, Rachmaninoff, Ravel, Schubert, Tschaikowsky, and more particularly the polish composers :Fredéric Chopin and Karol Szymanowski. In Tamines(Belgium) Beata received in 1998 at an international contest an award for the best interpretation of the compositions of K. Szymanowski".

In 2001 Beata recorded her first disc with compositions of : Ravel, Schubert, Chopin, Skriabin and Szymanowski.
