That's how the specialized critics express about Miguel Angel Scebba's performance during his extensive tours that have already taken him to over fifteen countries in the world. His record of the "Sonate op. 22" of Schumann was compared by critics to that of the famous Sviatoslav Richter.
This pianist, who was born in Buenos Aires was initially formed in Argentina, but it was definitely after being formed for several years in Russia, that he became an outstanding representative of the Russian tradition among the great Latin American pianists. He studied firstly in the Tchaikowsky Conservatory of Kiev, with Professor Valery Sagaidatchniy and later in theTchaikowsky Conservatory of Moscow with Professor Vladimir Natanson. During his staying at Kiev's Conservatory he met Professor Vladimir Nilsen, who invited him to Leningrad, where he spended several months working under the guidance of this prominent master.
Miguel Angel Scebba is constantly being invited to perform in concerts as a soloist with renowned orchestras in Europe en America, and he is one of the rare Latin American pianists that made several tours along the formed USSR, whose audience and critics are of an outstanding artistry. Recently he made many successful appearances in Bulgaria and Russia.
Miguel Angel Scebba has a vast repertoire, over forty concerts with orchestra and has given integral cycles of the Beethoven's sonatas.
Scebba is also a prolific composer: Four Symphonies, recorded by the Orchestra of National University of San Juan - Argentina, where he is full professor, and many chamber compositions, as well as works for organ, voice, etc.
