Albert Sassmann studied piano and conducting at the Bruckner Conservatory Linz, and at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, where he graduated with a Masters Degree with honours. He then received the ARCM - Diploma with honours at the Royal College of Music London. In addition to this Sassmann has also worked with international artists such as Tatiana Nikolaeva and Jacob Lateiner.

Specialising in the repertoire of the Viennese Classic, the "Second Viennese School" and Music of the 20. century, Sassmann has collected awards at piano competitions both national and international. Aside from radio and television appearances and several CD recordings he performed both as a Soloist and Chamber Musician in Austria, Germany, Poland, France, Macedonia, Israel, Romania, Belgium, Portugal, Russia, Egypt, Georgia, Lebanon, Turkey, Italy, in the Czech Republic, the Ukraine, in Moldova, Belarus, Hungary, India, Malaysia, Namibia, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, China, in the USA, the Caribbean (St. Vincent and the Grenadines), in Australia, and in New Zealand.
