Alexandre Pirojenko was born on November 3, 1979 in St.Petersburg, Russia.

He is a laureate of the following international piano competitions:

* The 3rd International Prokofiev piano competition in St.Petersburg, Russia (1999, 3rd PRIZE)
* International Bremer Klavierwettbewerb, Germany (1999, 2nd PRIZE)
* The 4th Orleans Concours International Piano XXe Siecle, France (2000, 3rd PRIZE, Bronze medal)

He also won prizes of the following piano competitions:

* The 5th International Competition of Music and Art School Students in Takasaki, Japan (1997, 2nd PRIZE)
* The 7th International "Pilar Bayona" piano competition in Zaragoza, Spain (1998, Special prize)

Alexandre participated in Anton Rubinstein festival in St.Petersburg (Russia, 1992) and in International festival "Musical Olympus" in St.Petersburg (Russia, 2000).

Alexandre Pirojenko appeared on stages of St.Petersburg, Novgorod (Russia), Kiev (Ukraine), Berlin, Lubeck, Darmstadt, Koblenz (Germany), New York, Philadelphia (USA), Lima, Arikuipa (Peru), Ljubljana (Slovenia), Belgrade, Novi Sad (Yugoslavia).

Alexandre performed with St.Petersburg Academic Capella Symphony Orchestra (Russia), Nordwestdeutschen Philharmonie (Germany) and Contemporaneous Orchestral Ensemble (France).

The CD "Bremer Klavierwettbewerb'99" with his recording of J. Haydn Sonata As-dur, Hob. XVI / 46 and S. Prokofiev Sonata No 6 A-dur, op. 82 was issued in Germany in 1999.

Alexandre Pirojenko became the first performer of works by Boris Tishchenko and Tatyana Voronina.

In 1984 -1994 his piano teacher was Irina Saravayskaya. In 1994 -1998 he studied piano with Prof. Marina Wolf at the special music school-lyceum of St.Petersburg State Conservatoire (Russia). Since 1998 he is a student at St.Petersburg State Conservatoire (Russia) in piano class of Prof. Alexander Sandler.

Alexandre Pirojenko participated in master classes of Prof. A. Nasedkin (1992), Prof. Paul Badura-Skoda (1995, 1997) and Prof. Hans Leygraf (1999).
