Gabriele Baldocci was born in Livorno (Leghorn) in Tuscany (Italy) on May 10th, 1980. He began playing piano at the age of six with M° Ilio Barontini. In 1995 he won the entering competition for the Piano Academy "Accademia Pianistica Incontri con il Maestro" in Imola, Italy, where he studied regularly until 1999, with M° Franco Scala and M° Leonid Margarius. During those years, he also received lessons from Boris Petroushansky, Alexander Lonquich, Alexis Weissemberg. He attended many masterclasses of many important personalities like Maurizio Pollini, Louis Lortie, Arie Vardi, Andrei Jasinski. On November 1999, during a masterclass given by M° Paul Badura-Skoda, was accepted by him as a private official student. At the same time, he was invited to attend his first year in the prestigious "International Piano Foundation" on Lake Como, Italy, where still now he his an official student. In the Foundation, he participates with profit to the masterclasses held by the most important teachers of the world, like Lèon Fleisher, Alicia De Larrocha, Dmitri Baskirov, Fou Ts' Ong, Charles Rosen, Andreas Staier, receiving appreciations from the teachers. For the time being he is a pupil of M° William Grant Naborè, the Director of the Piano Foundation.
He won many important competitions and he gave concerts in many prestigious musical centers. On November 6th, 2002, he played his official debùt in Sala Verdi (the most important italian concert hall) in Milan.
