Beginning life as an affectionate term (and literary parody) for a handful
of female jazz musicians who found themselves performing on the
predominantly male UK jazz scene, The Number One Ladies Jazz Agency formed
in 2005 to celebrate the presence of women in jazz, and continue to
collaborate with the wealth of both men and women of jazz in the UK.
Features jazz vocalist Emma Nabarro with fabulous UK jazz musicians such
as pianist Wendy Kirkland and double-bassist Jenni Molloy.
