Since the formation of the Big Town Playboys the band has attained some of the highest achievements of any band playing in their genre. Names like Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Robert Plant. See under 'Accolades' for a full list. The Playboys believe in producing the best 50's R&B music that you can see - anywhere. The musicians themselves play this music fundamentally because it is what they love. Over the years there have been some changes, but the fundamental belief of producing good quality music that is simply the best remains as solid as ever. This passion is translated into the dance floor guaranteeing the most infectious dance groove around.

Accolades:

Eric Clapton: Support at the Royal Albert Hall on numerous occasions and support on European Tour, Music for the film "TheColor of Money".

Jeff Beck: Crazy Legs, a tribute album to Cliff Gallup, the first guitarist with Gene Vincent and the Bluecaps, plus support on European tour.

Robbie Coltraine / Anne Dudley Film music for "The Pope must die".

Robert Plant & Mick Fleetwood: Performing together on numerous gigs.
