Dominic Nunns (www.dominicnunns.com <http://www.dominicnunns.com/> ) has been described by The Times as a "great British hope". He works as a freelance musician, having studied at Durham University and the Royal College of Music, gaining Distinctions at both. Dominic has been Musical Director of the Durham University Chamber and Symphony Orchestras, Marylebone Chamber Orchestra and BYO Wind Ensemble.
 
Other orchestras he has conducted in concert include the Lawyers Symphony Orchestra, Sussex Symphony Orchestra, Colne Philmarmonic Orchestra, Portobello Orchestra, the Life and Death Orchestra and members of the National Youth Orchestra. In 2000 Dominic conducted the Ramallah Sinfonia in what was thought to be the first ever Palestinian orchestral concert.
 
As a horn player, Dominic has performed at the Dartington International Summer School, the Verbier Festival in Switzerland, the Savonlinna International Opera Festival in Finland and the BBC Proms. He has given masterclasses at Dartington and at the Y4Y Festival in Thailand. He has learnt from many well-known conductors, particularly James Levine.
 
Dominic is also interested composing and orchestrating ˆ he has now worked on 5 films including Die Another Day and as an assistant to the late Michael Kamen for the George Harrison Tribute Concert. He orchestrated Songs for the Betrayed World (by Sussex composers Bill Smith and Bim Sinclair).
 
His realisation of Mozart's fragment of Horn Concerto in E Major now appears on Bärenreiter's "Bestsellers" list and received its North American premiere in September 2003 in Honduras.
 
As an educator Dominic works with the New London Orchestra, European Youth Summer Music, Brighton College, Worth Abbey School and regularly with the Brighton Youth Orchestra.
