Trained in Canterbury, Peter Litman was an organ scholarship to Christ Church College from 1996-1999, where he won college prizes for performance. He studied organ at the Cathedral with Dr David Flood and furthered his studies with Neil Wright on the fine Cavialle-Coll organ at Farnborough Abbey in Hampshire.

Peter is currently Director of Music at St Peter's Collegiate Church, Ruthin, North Wales, where he presides over the recently restored 4 manual Wadsworth-Willis Organ.

A respected choral director and educator, he studied with Dr Colin Durrant and composer-conductor, Bob Chilcott. He was formerly course director of the MA Choral Education course at Roehampton University, London. In 2008 Peter was invited to work with the National Youth Choirs of Peru improving choral singing throughout the country; his success was marked by a honorary 'doctor of music' being presented by the Peruvian Ministry of Education and Conservatorio de Lima.

Peter is in demand as a recitalist and regularly deputises at many of the Cathedrals in the United Kingdom.

Peter holds bachelor and master degrees in music and is a Fellow of the London College of Music
