.......fondé en 1991, est un groupe de musique de chambre réunissant un trio instrument (clarinette, alto et piano) auquel une cantatrice ou d'autres artistes viennent se joindre.

Le répertoire en trio va du classicisme au contemporain: Mozart, Schumann, Max Bruch, Glinka, Carl Reinecke, Paul Juon, Jean Françaix....... il possède à son catalogue plus de vingt titres répondant à sa structure.

Il propose parallèlement au public des Ïuvres à deax instruments: dea sonates pour alto et piano (Hummel, Schubert, Schumann, Brahms, Chostakovitch, Glinka, Britten, Hindemith) des pages pour clarinette et piano (Weber, Schumann, Brahms, Debussy, Martinu, Gretchaninov, Saint-Saens, Poulenc), mais l'Ensemble Arcade propose aussi des pièces variées avec chant.

Il a enregistré au mois d'Août 1992 le Trio des Quilles de Mozart et les 8 pièces de Max Bruch. Le compact-disque est sorti en Juillet 1993. Un deaxième compact est en projet et comprendra cette fois des Ïuvres contemporaines.

The Trio Arcade......

........founded in 1991, is a trio consisting of Clarinet, Viola and Piano, and can be augmented with other instruments, and voices, to become the Ensemble Arcade.

The trio's repertoire covers the spectrum from classical to contemporary, including music by: Mozart, Schumann, Max Bruch, Glinka, Carl Reinecke, Paul Juon, Jean Françaix, and contains in its' prospectus more than twenty works within this structure.

Also possible within the programmes are works for two instruments, such as sonatas for viola and piano (Hummel, Schubert, Schumann, Brahms, Chostakovitch, Glinka, Britten, Hindemith), and for clarinet and piano (Weber, Schumann, Brahms, Debussy, Martinu, Gretchaninov, Saint-Saens, Poulenc), while the Ensemble Arcade can offer pieces including voice.

In August 1992 the Trio made a CD of works by Mozart and Max Bruch, which was released in 1993, and a second recording, of contemporary music, is in the project stage.
