The prize-winning duo of Aglika Genova and Liuben Dimitrov are two young dazzling piano virtuosi who bring insight, passion and elegance to everything they play. Born in Bulgaria in families of well-known professional musicians, now residing in Germany, they are the only piano duo in history to win all of the major prestigious international piano-duo contests:

They graduated brilliantly as soloists from the State Music Academy in Sofia, Bulgaria under Professor Ganev and Professor Dimitrova and from the post-gra-duate Master Class of the great Russian pianist Professor Vladimir Krainev al the ~HochschuIe fur Musik und Theater' in Hanover, Germany follo-wing his personal invitation. Since its foundation at the end of 1995 the Genova & Dimitrov Piano Duo perform to public and critical acclaim throughout the world. Their appearences at one piano-four hands and at two pianos in America, Europe, Asia and Africa are always praised as 'brilliant', "magnificent", "amazing" and sensational". Honored members of the prestigious lnternational Piano Duo Association of Japan, they appear as guest artists at numerous international festivals including the Ludwigsburg, Schwetzingen, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Rheingau Festspiele, the Varna Summer Festival, the Music Festival of the Hamptons. the Miami Two Piano Plus Symposium, the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, the Novosibirsk Piano Duo Festival, the Heidelberg Spring, the Brahms Music Days, the Nakas Music Festival (Athens), the Sofia Music Weeks and the Rousse Music Days.
Genova & Dimitrov are to be seen on CBS TV (USA); and are to be heard on NHK (Japan), on SWR, BR. MDR, WDR, Radio Bremen, HR, DLFunk, DWeIIe, SFB, NDR in Germany, on BNT/BNR and on ClassicFM Radio in their native Bulgaria. The movies "Two Piano - One Passion" (CBS TV, USA) and "Genova & Dimitrov live in Bulgaria" (BNT/BNR, Bulgaria) including live recordings of their appearences in Miami and in Sofia were broadcasted in 1998/1999. They were listed in the "1998 Who is Who in Germany" recognizing them as "musicians of exceptional talents" and "most valued members of the German Society."
In 1997, they released their first CD with studio recordings from MDR and SWR (Germany). A second CD was realized by Pricewaterhouse Coopers live at concert in the Great Concert Hall of Radio Berlin in 1998. A milestone of the Piano Duo's co-ope-ration with the CD label "CPO--Classics" was their world premiere recording of "The Complete Piano Duo Works ot Shostakovitch" which was released and distributed worldwide at the end of 1998.
