Musicians Gallery will in future list artists' and clients' website addresses (URL's).
Musicians Gallery's "webpage" service will continue but only for "Special Featured Artists/Clients".
Members who have functioning URL's at the time of changeover will have retained their listing.
Members who do not have their own websites, or whose URL's were not functioning at changeover time, will find their listing has been removed. These can easily be renewed by sending a correct, up-to-date and functioning URL to a personal website or, for those who do not have their own website, by signing up as a Musicians Gallery "Special Featured Artist".
Musicians Gallery will continue to offer two types of membership, "Special Featured Artist/Client", which incurs a small annual fee, and "Standard URL Membership" which is free. See JOIN for details.
WHY THE CHANGE? After well over a decade of service it has become apparent that the main problem for the Musicians Gallery "webpage" has been the irregularity of "updating" both text and images. Whilst many members were diligent some were not, which is understandable as its easy to forget with a busy career. Personal websites, however, are far more likely to be kept fully up-to-date, so linking to URL's would appear to be more useful to all.
